About me
I’m a mixed-media artist based in Norwich, inspired by the natural world and the landscapes of Norfolk. I work with a combination of inks, acrylics, pastels, and collage to create layered, textured pieces that aim to capture atmosphere and emotion through colour and form.
A big part of my practice is centred around the beauty of flora. Bright, bold botanicals often take centre stage in my work, brought to life through abstract layering techniques. I build up each piece gradually, using shapes, lines, and colour to suggest flowers and plant forms as they emerge from the background. I also enjoy incorporating an eclectic mix of china and vases, objects that bring pattern, structure, and a sense of storytelling to my compositions.
I studied fashion and textile design at Harrow College of Art and Design, which gave me a strong grounding in pattern, colour, and form. Earlier in my career, I worked in the fashion industry with brands such as Marks & Spencer, and that experience continues to influence the bold, harmonious designs in my work today.
Alongside my own art practice, I founded Arts Desire, a creative space dedicated to supporting and showcasing artists. Creativity and experimentation are at the heart of everything I do, and I’m always exploring new ways to express the world around me.
