Beautiful Morning is a colourful layered painting which starts with an abstract underpainting. Kay, has picked out the images of the vases in acrylic paint using light and reflection and flat pattern, and shapes, and then has used her technique of using Posca pens and white acrylic paint to pick out details and leaf shapes. Inspired by a beautiful bunch of tulips that was brought for her on Mother’s Day.
